Expert profiles
The roles of forensic archaeologists and other specialists overlap considerably at scenes of investigation and therefore must work closely together in order to maximise the retrieval and interpretation of evidence. Specialists should work in close co-ordination to gain a full and conclusive picture of a victim’s identity and sequence of events leading to the crime.
Every investigation requires a unique and considered approach in order to make a firm case based on evidence obtained. Individually, neither a forensic archaeologist, forensic anthropologist or even the most talented individual is equipped for dealing with every eventuality, therefore close collaboration remains the crucial and solidifying factor.
